Send a test order

Send one order e-mail to Hyperfox to see how it reads an order, before you work on real ones. Hyperfox stores the e-mail as an inquiry (one incoming e-mail with its attachments) and turns it into one or more orders. The three words are explained in Inquiries, orders and lines.
Check before you start
- Have an old order e-mail ready, or any PDF or spreadsheet that looks like an order. Do not forward an order that Hyperfox already received.
- Find the address to send the order to. Your organisation uses one or both of these:
- The forwarding address on the Dashboard, next to Forwarding active. To copy it, click Copy value (copy icon).
- The mailbox Hyperfox watches on Microsoft 365. Ask your admin which mailbox that is.
Hyperfox has no test mode. A test order you validate goes to your ERP like any other order. Reject the test order when you are done.
Send the order and find it
- Forward the order e-mail, with its attachment, to the forwarding address or the watched mailbox.
- Click Processing. Your e-mail appears while Hyperfox processes it.
- Click To validate. When Hyperfox has finished, your e-mail moves from Processing to To validate.
- In To validate, click your e-mail. The order opens next to the document you sent.
- Check the order. To check it, follow steps 1 and 2 of Validate your first order.
- Click Reject instead of Validate. Your e-mail moves to Archive and nothing reaches your ERP.
What you see afterwards
The inquiry stays in To validate until you validate it or reject it. To keep a test order out of your ERP, reject the inquiry. Its orders become Rejected and move to Archive.
If your e-mail does not appear in Processing or To validate, check the causes in An order did not arrive in Hyperfox.
