Work through a list order by order, without going back to it
- Utilisateur
Work through To validate order by order when you validate a whole list in one sitting. Open the first order, and every Validate or Reject opens the next order of the list. You do not go back to the list in between. Arrows next to the inquiry number step through the list in both directions, also in Archive. If you are new to inquiries and orders, read Inquiries, orders and lines first.
Before you begin
- Open the inquiry from To validate or Archive, in the same browser tab. An inquiry opened from a link, a bookmark or a new tab has no list to step through. The arrows and their keys are not there, and Validate returns to the list.
- Set the sorting and filters of the list before you open the first order. The arrows follow the list as you left it: its sorting, its filters, its page size and the page you were on. For the controls, see Filters, sorting and page size.
Step to the next or previous order
- In To validate, click the row of the first order. The validation screen opens. Next to the inquiry number, the arrows Previous in the list and Next in the list appear.
- Click Next in the list (arrow), or press
⌥ PgDn(Alt PgDnon Windows). The next order of the list opens. If you have unsaved changes, Hyperfox first shows "Discard your changes?". - To go back one order, click Previous in the list (arrow), or press
⌥ PgUp(Alt PgUpon Windows).
On the first and the last order of the list, the arrow is disabled and reads First in the list or Last in the list. The key then shows the same message. On Windows, Ctrl ↓ and Ctrl ↑ step through the list too.
The arrows step through the list, not through the orders of one inquiry. To switch between the orders of a split inquiry, click an order tab or press Ctrl ⇧ → (Ctrl Shift → on Windows).
Validate and go on to the next order
When the list has an order after the one you are on, the Validate button reads Validate & next.
- Check and correct the order. For the steps, see Validate an order: check it and send it to your ERP.
- Click Validate & next, or press
⌘ Enter(Ctrl Enteron Windows). Hyperfox shows "Approved" and opens the next order of the list. The validated inquiry leaves To validate.
Reject moves on in the same way. After "Rejected", the next order opens. Retry always returns to the list. On the last order of the list, the button reads Validate and returns to To validate.
Return to the list after every order instead
- Click Choose where Validate takes you (arrow) beside Validate & next.
- Choose Validate & back to list. The button reads Validate again. After Validate and after Reject, Hyperfox returns to To validate.
Hyperfox keeps the choice with your account, in every browser you sign in to. To go on to the next order again, open the same menu and choose Validate & next.
Go on when the inquiry is read-only
The screen is read-only when a colleague has the inquiry open, or when it was validated or rejected after you opened it. A bar names the reason. Click Next in that bar to open the next order of the list. For how the lock works, see What happens when you and a colleague open the same order.
Step through the archive
Since the release of 4 November 2026.
The arrows and the keys work the same on an inquiry opened from Archive. Close and go back returns to Archive, on the row of the inquiry you are on.
What the arrows follow
The arrows read the list at the moment you press, with the sorting, filters and page size you set. An order that a colleague validated in the meantime is skipped. An order that arrived in the meantime is included, at its place in the sorting. At the end of a page, the next order is the first row of the next page. The screen checks the list every 15 seconds. A disabled Next in the list becomes available when a new order appears after yours.
