Send a failed order to your ERP again
- Gebruiker
- Admin
Send an order to your ERP again when it returned to To validate with the status Submit Failed. Correct what your ERP refused and validate the order again, so Hyperfox sends it once more. If you are new to order statuses, read What each order and inquiry status means first.
Check before you start
- Only a Submit Failed order can be validated again. Hyperfox has no action that sends a Validated, Submitted or Completed order again, and those orders are read-only. For such an order, ask your admin or support at [email protected].
- If an order stays Validated because no export profile was ready, Hyperfox does not send it later when a profile becomes ready. Ask support for those orders.
- Validating again sends the order to every webhook and every ready export profile, also those that received it the first time. Before you validate, ask your admin whether an export profile already delivered the order. That way, your ERP does not receive the order twice. Your admin sees this under Admin settings > Data > Export Profiles, with View Runs on each profile.
- If you click Save instead of Validate on a Submit Failed order, the order gets the status Pending Validation and stays in To validate. It is sent only when you validate it.
- If only a webhook delivery failed, the order status does not change and you have nothing to validate again. From the webhook log, your admin can retry a delivery with the status Failed (permanently) once.
Correct and validate the order again
- In To validate, click the row of the order with Submit Failed in the status column. The validation screen opens.
- Read the red message under the order tabs. It holds the answer of your ERP, or of the connection when Hyperfox could not reach your ERP. If the order went to several export profiles, the message holds the error of every profile that failed.
- Correct the field the message names. For example, a reference that is too long or a customer your ERP does not know. If the message names no value on the order, for example a connection or password error, stop and ask your admin. Export errors and what they mean explains each error.
- Click Validate, or press
⌘ Enter(Ctrl Enteron Windows). Hyperfox shows "Approved" and returns to To validate.
After you validate
The order is Validated and goes through the same sending as the first time. It then gets a new status:
- Completed when every export profile sends over an API that answered with success.
- Submitted when at least one export profile delivered a file, for example on an FTP server.
- Submit Failed again when an export profile failed. The order is back in To validate, with the new error in the red message.
- Validated when no export profile is ready, so only the webhooks received the order.
In a split inquiry, Validate sends only the orders that still waited: the Submit Failed orders and any Pending Validation or Saved order. Orders that already reached your ERP are not sent again.
