Review, narrow or switch off the corrections Codex learned

Review the corrections Hyperfox recorded in Codex, and switch off, narrow or delete an entry that is wrong. Hyperfox records an entry when you validate an order on which you replaced an automatically matched customer, item or unit. How Codex learns from your corrections explains when and why.
Check before you start
- Hyperfox has switched Codex on for your environment. That setting is one of those in What you can configure, and what Hyperfox configures. If Codex is off, Codex shows "Codex is not enabled". In that case, ask support.
- There is no button to add an entry by hand. To record a correction in Codex, correct the field in the validation screen and validate the order.
Find an entry
- In the header, click Codex. The list shows the newest entries first, with the number of entries.
- Click Filters, or press
F. - Filter on Reason, Field, Active or Date. To show the entries for items, filter Field on your item field.
- Read Changes. AI extracted: is the text Hyperfox read. AI matched: is the record Hyperfox matched. Changed to: is the record you chose.
To see the order an entry came from, point to the row and click Source Order (eye). The validated order opens in Archive, on the screen described in Archive detail. Codex does not show who recorded an entry. Date is when the source order was validated, and you can look up who validated it.
Set the reason
- In the row, click the reason, for example Matched to the wrong reference data record.
- Choose another reason: Wrong text was extracted from the document, This is a business rule, AI was offline during processing or Other (please specify). If you choose Other (please specify), enter the reason.
The reason documents the correction for your colleagues. It does not change how Hyperfox applies the entry.
Change the scope of an entry
Scope shows the customer, and for a unit also the item, an entry is limited to. No scopes means it applies to every order.
- In Scope, click the pill of the customer or item. Hyperfox shows "Scope deactivated". The entry is no longer limited to that customer or item, so it applies to more orders. An entry whose scopes are all switched off applies to every order.
- To limit the entry again, click the pill. Hyperfox shows "Scope activated".
Switch a scope off only if the correction holds for every customer. To stop an entry from applying at all, switch the entry off instead.
Switch an entry off
If an entry was a one-time exception, switch it off. Also switch an entry off if you are not sure it is right.
- In the row, click Active. The button reads Inactive and Hyperfox shows "Codex entry deactivated". Hyperfox no longer uses the entry.
- To use the entry again, click Inactive.
Delete an entry
Delete an entry that is wrong, for example when you chose the wrong item by mistake before validating.
Deleting an entry removes the correction from Codex. This cannot be undone. To stop the entry for now, switch it off instead.
- Point to the row and click Delete (bin). Hyperfox shows "Are you sure you want to delete this codex entry? This action cannot be undone."
- Click Delete.
Hyperfox shows "Codex entry deleted". To record a correction again, correct and validate a new order from that customer.
Check which entries Hyperfox used on an order
You need the admin role.
- Open the order from To validate or Archive.
- Click Developer tools > Codex.
- Click Captured or Applied. Captured shows the entries recorded when this order was validated. Applied shows the entries Hyperfox used while reading the order.
You can switch these entries off in the same panel.
